Potter gets write-in nod for New Berlin mayor; Doeberl wins in Earlville
NEW BERLIN – With no official candidates on the ballot, the mayor’s race in New Berlin came down to write-ins, with Terry Potter garnering the most votes in Tuesday’s election. Potter, who was on the ballot running for re-election to his trustee position, received 80 write-in votes for mayor. Receiving 19 votes was current Mayor Wade Schrag, even though he withdrew his write-in candidacy last week.
In Earlville, incumbent Mayor Mark Doeberl defeats challenger Vito Bolognone, 96 to 58.
