GREENE – Donna Utter captured the 2011 Greene Bowlodrome women's handicap house championship last Saturday, March 12, with a 218-199 victory over Sandie Charles in the finals.

Twenty women bowlers participated in the tournament, and after four games, the top five qualifiers were Utter, 948; Yvonne Bullock, 921; Joy Thorn, 915; Sandie Charles, 910; and Tiffany Tallett 908. A TV-tournament-style roll-off saw Charles beat Tallett, 294-244. Charles then knocked off Thorn, 227-208, and Bullock, 216-209, to reach the final against Utter. The win for Utter was her second house championship in the last 10 years.
