Smyrna Historical Committee meets Thursday
SMYRNA – On Thursday, the Smyrna Historical Committee will hold its monthly get together. Historian Bob Matteson will have a collection of “people” pictures on display from the archives. It is hoped that those who attend and might recognize folks that Matteson can’t identify.
The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at the Smyrna Town Hall. “These pictures were donated over a period of time and while we appreciate all of them, we could really use your help in figuring out who they are,” said committee member Barb Schwarting. “And for all you picture takers out there, remember to write on your prints who the people are, where taken, and the year of the photograph. Future generations will have no questions in their mind about their relatives. Identify, identify, identify!”
