Spirit Week competition between seniors and freshmen of the Purple Team and sophomores and juniors of the White Team at the Norwich High School continued to escalate today as both teams seek to gain the upper hand.

While Monday’s competition – with its Sports Day Theme – was a little slow to start, Pep Club advisor Lansing Dimon said he expected the action to pick-up considerably as the week progresses.

Assistant Principal Scott Ryan couldn’t agree more.

“Things are just getting started here at NHS,” said Ryan, representing the Purple Team this year. “Things are stacked-up against the White Team, but you never rule out a Tornado.”
