Bonnell wins Athlete of the Week award
CORTLAND – Norwich 2010 graduate, Sarah Bonnell, was named this week the SUNYAC Women’s Outdoors Track Athlete of the Week.
Bonnell, a freshman at Cortland State, finished first in three events, all of them with ECAC qualifying performances. Bonnell won the 100-meter dash (12.65), the 200-meter dash (25.82), and won the long jump with a leap of 5.48 meters (17-11 3/4). Bonnell also anchored the Dragons’ winning 400-meter relay that posted an ECAC qualifying time of 50.18 seconds.
