Norwich PTSA hosts Meet the Candidates Night
NORWICH – Residents of the Norwich City School District will have a chance to learn more about each of the candidates vying for school board at a Meet the Candidates Night next week. The forum, sponsored by the Norwich Parent, Teacher and Student Association, will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11 in Room 1 at the Norwich High School.
A total of 5 candidates will appear on the May 17 ballot, as they vie for 2 vacant seats on the board of education. Those candidates are incumbents Priscilla M. Johnson and Thomas L. Morrone, and challengers Erica L. Barrows, Robert I. Patterson and Joseph A. McBride.
Parents and community members will have the opportunity to meet each of the candidates and hear their stance on issues facing the district at the PTSA event.
