DELHI – Delhi used a six-run third inning to retake the lead from Unadilla Valley in Friday’s road victory.
Kaci Anderson hit a two-run double in the Bulldogs’ third, and Katie Anderson added an RBI double.
Brittany Fairchild was 2-for-3 with three runs for UV (3-1), while Jen Elliott and Charlee Weidman had two hits apiece. Jordan Anderson hit a two-run homer in the third giving UV a 2-1 lead. “We played really well outside of that one inning,” said UV coach Eileen Lawyer. “We’ve been hitting the ball really well.”

COPES CORNERS – G-MU finished a busy week of games sweeping a doubleheader from Laurens in Tri-Valley League play Friday.
In the opening game, the Raiders started the game with back-to-back three-run innings for their only runs. Alicia Sebeck hit a two-run homer in the first inning, and Lauren Hill went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI. Sebeck allowed four Laurens hits for the victory.
G-MU (7-6) used another fast start to claim the second contest. The Raiders scored five in the first, and after the Leopards tied the game in the third, came back with five more tallies in the third. Katie Bakhuizen and Sebeck had two hits apiece, and Logan Eltz finished with two RBI. Marissa Melrose went five innings to pick up the victory.
“We played some really good defense in both games,” said G-MU coach Tina Cole, whose club made just two total errors in the doubleheader. “We’re playing really well now, and it’s nice to see it.”

NORWICH – Susquehanna Valley broke a 1-1 tie with four runs in the second, and the Sabers padded their advantage with three more runs in the third.
“That’s probably the best hitting team we’ve seen all season,” said Norwich coach Dennis Eaton. “There’s a reason why (Susquehanna Valley) has already clinched a division title.”
Lindsay Haskell led SV with three hits and five RBI. Laura Knight contributed a two-run homer.
Cassie Sutton had an RBI double in the first for Norwich, and Shelby Condon was 2-for-2 with a run scored. Norwich plays at Owego today.

BAINBRIDGE – Oxford completed a six-day stretch of seven games placing second at the Bainbridge-Guilford Tournament on Saturday.
Caiti Anderson was 3-for-4 with a triple and Chelsi Rosa finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored to lead B-G. The Bobcats scored eight runs in the bottom of the fourth to erase Oxford’s 5-1 lead.
Julianne Heggie was 2-for-4 with an RBI to lead Oxford.
In the opening game, the Blackhawks romped past Unatego stringing together 11 hits around 24 Unatego base on balls. Kristen Stoddard was 3-for-5 with four RBI, Lacey Barry went 2-for-2 with four runs driven in, and Jacquelyn Heggie also was 2-for-2 with three RBI. Jacquelyn Heggie allowed three hits for the victory.
Emily Smith, Julianne Heggie, and Jacquelyn Heggie were each named to the all-tournament team.

Colin Izard shot a 3-over-par 37 to lead the Storm (8-3), and Ryan Jacobs was a close second to Izard carving out a 38. Jared Hanslmaier (43), Austin Glidden (46), and Robert Peck (48) completed the UV scoring.
