NORWICH – Voters in the Norwich City School District have passed the 2011-12 spending plan by a vote of 670 to 366.
In a five-way race for two school board seats, voters elected Tom Morrone and Joseph McBride with 699 and 682 votes, respectively. Unsuccessful in their bids were incumbent Priscilla Johnson with 390 votes, Robert Patterson with 199 and Erica Barrows with 135.
Other school districts in the county have also reported budgets being passed. Complete election results will appear in Wednesday’s Evening Sun.
