New principal at Holy Family
NORWICH – Fr. Ralph A. Bove, pastor of St. Bartholomew’s and St. Paul’s Churches in Norwich, is pleased to announce that Stephen R. Bradley of Sherburne will be the next principal of Holy Family School in Norwich. Bradley is succeeding Gene Chilion, who will retire June 30.
Bradley, a native of Maine, will retire as Principal of Unadilla Valley Central School in New Berlin at the end of the current school year. He has served as either Elementary or High School Principal at Unadilla Valley since 1999. Bradley has also been a school counselor for grades 7-12 at Unadilla Valley and a high school social studies teacher and counselor at Oxford Academy in Oxford.
A graduate of Colgate University with a degree in Economics, Mr. Bradley has also studied at Tufts University, Medford, MA (Master of Arts in Education); SUCO Oneonta (Certificate of Advanced Study in School Counseling) and SUNY Cortland (Certificate of Advanced Study in School Administration.) In addition to his academic pursuits, Mr. Bradley has also coached middle and high school basketball, JV and varsity football, JV softball and modified soccer. Bradley and his wife Valeria are members of St. Malachy’s Parish in Sherburne. They have three daughters.
