Conant joins Norwich Rehabilitation & Nursing Center as facility administrator
NORWICH – Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is pleased to announce that Katherine Conant, lifelong resident of Norwich, has accepted the position as the facility administrator. Kate and her husband Larry have four children and also own & operate Miller Movers, LLC. Conant comes with extensive experience in long term care, with a background in recreational therapy. She previously was functioning as the Activity Director of this facility and later focusing on Quality Assurance before leaving to pursue her Master’s degree. Her background also includes working with Hospice of Chenango County and multiple rehabilitation facilities throughout NYS including Northeast Health and one of NYS most prestigious Rehabilitation Centers, Helen Hayes Hospital.
Joel Cummings, Director of Nursing, is excited about her return, “with personal experience working with Kate I know she is a strong advocate for the residents of our facility. She is devoted to ensuring that quality of care is delivered.” Holly Brightman, daughter of residents Patricia and Robert Kohls states, “I am pleased that Kate has returned; when she held the role as Activity Director she was very involved with the residents, and that is what it takes to be a good Administrator.”
