NORWICH – Coming off an Otsenango Pony League championship a season ago, Norwich began defense of its title last Thursday blanking Oxford, 11-0.

Norwich scored five runs in the opening inning to establish command and back the pitching of winning pitcher Cody Barnes and reliever Chris Trevisani.
