New president for Sherburne Rotary
SHERBURNE – Congratulations to Pam Misch, new President of the Sherburne Rotary Club. The club members appreciate Pam taking on this responsibility and look forward to this coming year under her leadership. A special thank you goes to Dave Bensley, now our Past President for a second time and our new incoming Secretary. We thank him for his leadership during this past year. Under his guidance we have been able to accomplish a great deal and look forward to his continued efforts.
And speaking of continued efforts, our first week of Music in the Park took place last Wednesday with The Roots of Rock and Roll and will continue this week with the music of Babik. Termed gypsy jazz, this music has something for everyone. “This music makes people happy. Gypsy jazz has a great groove that you would be hard pressed to avoid tapping your foot to.” The four musicians are talented and personable with the audience. Don’t miss this one!
These programs would not be possible without the support of community businesses and patrons themselves. Please take note of their names in the program booklet and remember to thank them for these enjoyable evenings.
The Sherburne Rotary Club meets on Thursday’s at Lewis’ Restaurant at noon. Anyone interested in learning more about Rotary is welcome to join us.
