Bainbridge man dragged by truck

BAINBRIDGE – A Bainbridge man was injured Wednesday night after being dragged by a vehicle following a verbal dispute.

According to Trooper Christopher May of the New York State Police Troop C Sidney Barracks, 19-year old Russell Darling was dragged for approximately 20 feet while clinging to the passenger window of a maroon Dodge Dakota pick-up driven by Tyler Dodge, 24.

The incident took place shortly after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, near the intersection of Kirby and Greenlawn Streets in the Village of Bainbridge.

According to Trooper May, it was sparked by a verbal dispute between the two men regarding Dodge’s ex-girlfriend, who currently lives with Darling.
