SHERBURNE – Sherburne-Earlville was outclassed in the first half by a talented Clinton team giving up four goals in Tuesday’s shutout loss.

Four different Clinton players scored, and Will Smigel’s one goal and one assist led the visitors. “I was impressed with how efficient they are, and they waste very little energy,” said S-E coach Mike Rodriguez of Clinton’s players. “Their service of the ball was right where it needed to be. It was very impressive.”
