PITTSBURGH – Milford Academy set up a matchup with fellow unbeaten Army Prep blanking Robert Morris’ JV team on Monday, 44-0.
It was the second shutout this season for the Falcons (5-0), who rushed for 477 yards on the ground. Montrell Dobbs had 14 carries for 139 yards and one score; Darryl Flemister had 81 yards rushing, and Ashton Broyld ran for 71 yards on seven carries scoring once. Broyld also tossed a pair of touchdown passes connecting with Levern Jacobs and Navon Hobby.
Milford Academy has now won 16 of 17 games, the lone setback to Army. The two clubs meet this Saturday at 2 p.m. at Norwich High School. “This is the biggest game of the year for us,” said Milford Academy coach Bill Chapllick. “It’s a great rivalry.”
