McDonough gets new fire truck
Members of the McDonough Fire Department Kevin Morley, 2nd Assistant Chief Rich Stone, Chief Don Granger, Assistant Chief Mike Beckwith and President John Tracy were on hand Sunday afternoon for the dedication of the department’s new fire truck. The new truck is the department’s first-ever customized vehicle – replacing two others – and is now the crew’s primary method of transportation.
“This truck will serve us for years to come,” said Beckwith. “This is pretty exciting and it’s been two years in the works, easily, from saying we need a new truck to actually getting this one.”
