New exhibit opens at Arts Council tonight
Artist GG Stankiewicz works to unwrap some of the artwork that will be featured as part of the Chenango County Council of the Arts first installment of its 2011-2012 gallery season. Stankiewicz’s work, as well as artist Kathleen Hayek’s, will be featured through Oct. 28. The gallery’s opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight and gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Council of the Arts, 27 West Main St.
