NORWICH – With a higher attendance than in previous years, Saturday’s Fall Festival of the Bands at the Norwich High School left the Tornado Field Band with a lot to celebrate.

Norwich placed second in the small school, division two category with a total score of 79.75, right behind Johnson City (SS 2; 82.1).

Other small schools included Vestal (SS 3; 68.05), Westmoreland (SS 3; 77.15), and Mohonasen (SS 1; 86.5).

Baldwinsville led the large school category (LS 2; 87.6), followed by Union-Endicott (LS 3; 74.8) and Rome Free Academy (LS 3; 74.35).
