Benefit aids S. Plymouth family who lost home to Tropical Storm Lee

SOUTH PLYMOUTH – A benefit to aid the family of Corinne Manwarren-Brink will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Plymouth Fire House, state Hwy. 23 in South Plymouth. Activities will include Chinese raffles, food, door prizes, 50/50 Raffles, a kids’ game corner and live music.

Manwarren-Brink lost her home following flooding associated with Tropical Storm Lee. And while it could have been much worse, she said it was “kind of hard to put a figure” on the damages. All in all, the mother of three said the family lost up to half its belongings in the flood.

“It’s really hard to pinpoint everything,” she added.
