OXFORD – Last week a Oxford Academy High School, a select group of senior all-stars played as teammates at the second annual Midstate Athletic Conference Fall Senior Classic. All of the MAC teams – Afton, Bainbridge-Guilford, Delhi, Deposit, Greene, Hancock, Harpursville, Oxford, Sidney, Unadilla Valley, Unatego and Walton participated in the action-packed game. In honor of tradition, all players and coaches hit the floor for the final few points.
The victorious team, Bulljackspahackenstorm (Greene, Unatego, Deposit, Delhi, Oxford and UV), was led by Marissa Pierce of Greene, who had seven kills and two blocks. Oxford’s Olivia Roach added four aces.
For the Penquins (Harpursville, B-G, Sidney, Walton, Hancock and Afton), Nicole Stephenson of Harpursville had nine aces, and Mallory Lawrence of Afton finished with five kills.
