NORWICH – The Chenango United Way Campaign Cabinet met last Wednesday morning to announce they’ve raised 70 percent of their annual fundraising goal, collecting nearly $308,000 to be distributed among local non-profit organizations in 2012.

“There’s still plenty of time to help us reach our goal,” said United Way Executive Director Elizabeth Monaco. She urges anyone who wishes to contribute to this year’s United Way Campaign to do so by Dec. 30 at 12 p.m.

“A great deal of thanks to all who have contributed so far,” said Deb Barker, United Way Campaign Co-Chair.
