Two nabbed in drug bust at city hotel
NORWICH – A pair of Syracuse residents have been charged with multiple felony counts of drug possession following a Tuesday night drug bust carried out by the Norwich City Police.
Nathaniel Raheem Cosby, 37, of 2312 Grant Blvd., Syracuse, and Shinyrra K. Legrand-Thomas, 18, 254 Calthrop St., Syracuse, were taken into custody following the 9:30 p.m. bust, which took place at the Howard Johnson Hotel.
“Officers responded to a complaint of an odor of burning marijuana and arrested two people in a first floor room at Howard Johnson’s,” said Police Chief Joseph Angelino. “During the investigation, a substantial amount of heroin, crack cocaine and marijuana were seized at the scene.”
