One airlifted after two-car crash in Guilford

A two-car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Wahlberg Road and county Road 36 in the Town of Guilford Wednesday afternoon sent one driver – whose name has not been released – to United Health Services’ Wilson Medical Center via Lifenet helicopter with serious injuries. The second driver was transported by ambulance to Chenango Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. The Guilford and Mt. Upton Fire departments were assisted on the scene by Cooperstown Medical Transport and the New York State Police. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
