Burger King to undergo extensive renovations
NORWICH – Burger King at the South end of Norwich will undergo extensive interior renovations this spring, bringing the restaurant a more contemporary look.
Beginning in March, construction crews will be remodeling the dining room, restrooms and kitchen area, conduct basic landscaping around the building and repair minor damages in an effort to “update the image” of the building, according to Randy Jones, local district manager for the Carol Restaurant Group – a Syracuse based corporation that franchises 350 Burger King restaurants throughout the north east.
“It’s due for a remodel under our lease agreement with BK,” Jones said, assuring that the restaurant will remain open for business as usual throughout the construction process. “We’ve already met with the health department and the construction department has all the necessary building permits.”
