Maynard records first ace of season at CCC
Unadilla Valley student Brenon Maynard, 13, notched the first hole-in-one of the season at Canasawacta Country Club last Saturday. Playing with his brother Bryant, cousin Collin Izard, and friend Brett Smith, Brenon used a driver on the 218-yard 17th hole for his ace. Brenon said he decided to get serious about his game last year, and thought the best way to improve would be to join C.C.C. Brenon is a member of the Unadilla Valley golf team.
