Cirigliano wins Greene Bowlodrome men’s handicap house title
GREENE – Jim Cirigliano captured the 2012 Greene Bowlodrome men’s house handicap tournament title Saturday, March 24 topping the 26-bowler field.
After four games, the top five bowlers were seeded for a TV-tournament-style roll-off. Bill Smith (932) earned the top seed, and was followed by Cirigliano (890), Kevin Cummings (867), Bob Myers (854), and Dave Nelson (852).
Nelson beat Myers 218-183 in the first match, Cummings then beat Nelson, 219-176, Cirigliano bested Cummings 241-204, and followed that with a 240-208 championship win over Smith. It was Cirigliano’s first tournament bowling at Greene Bowlodrome, tournament officials said.
