Andrew Golden pitched six strong innings for the victory giving up just one run. He struck out seven and walked two, and he was supported by two-RBI nights from Ryan Moore and Richard Ryan.

“Out of the 13 runs, I think there were only four runs batted in,” said Greene coach Steve Burghardt.
Kurt Bartholomew and Lane Whittaker had ribbies for the Trojans (2-5).

Hancock 7, B-G 6 (8 innings)
HANCOCK - Hancock was just about down to its last pitch before making a stunning rally to defeat B-G in eight innings Tuesday night.
Down 3-2 to the Bobcats in the seventh, B-G pitcher Austin Bauerle retired the first two batters, and had a 2-2 count on the Wildcats’ Rocco Christian. Christian hit an opposite-field home run on the next pitch to force extra innings.
B-G regrouped with a two-out rally to score three runs in the top of the eighth. Mark Cordner hit a two-run double, and he scored on Lucas Butcher’s single.
Hancock came back to put four runs on the board without making an out. A walk and two singles loaded the bases, and Eli Holton’s double cleared the bases knotting the game. Tom Banicky singled to plate Holton with the game-winning run.
“Some of young kids came through at the bottom of the order, and this was just a tough one to lose,” said B-G coach Tim Mattingly. “To have a 2-2 count with two outs and give up an opposite-field homer, that was just a killer. To my kids’ credit, we scored three with two outs in eighth, and had chance to win, it just didn’t happen. Give Hancock credit, their kids battled and came up with the hits.”
Cordner was 2-for-4 with four RBI, and Brandon Lamont added two hits and two RBI for B-G in the loss.
