Kicinski forces primary against Hanna

EARVILLE – The New York State Board of Elections has announced its certification for the June 26 federal primary election for New York Congressional District 22. It is official that Michael Kicinski of Earlville is forcing a primary challenge against incumbent Richard Hanna.

Kicinski is centrally located in the newly created New York 22nd district, straddling the border of Madison and Chenango counties.

“Our location, generally in the middle of the new district, will make it very easy and convenient in both travel and communications,” he said. “I look forward to spending even more time meeting and listening to the concerns of the people. I will be the true Republican and conservative representative they want.”
