Tremors win Memorial Day Madness

On Monday, May 28, the 14U TC Tremors won the Binghamton Area Girls Softball Inc. (BAGSAI) Memorial Day Madness 14-and-under fast-pitch softball tournament. Initially seeded sixth out of nine teams during pool play on Saturday and Sunday, the 14U TC Tremors defeated higher-seeded teams by the scores of 7-3, 2-1, and 2-1 during Monday’s playoffs. The championship game ended in an exciting international tiebreaker with the TC Tremors finishing as the tournament champions. Team members are (back row from left) Coach Keith Thomas, Elena Shelepak, Emily Robinov, Kassidy Seary (Norwich), Alexandra Yoest, Alexis Thomas, and Head Coach Tim Lee, In the middle row from the left are Coach Marc Robinov, Ciara McNeill, Mikayla Short, Jordan Sanford, (Norwich), Lauren Lee, and Colleen Mooney. In the front row are Kylee Warner and Hannah Eddy (Norwich). Team members other than the Norwich students reside in the Candor, Vestal, Union-Endicott, Maine-Endwell, and Chenango Forks school districts.
