Film series present “Priceless” tonight
NORWICH – The next Second Tuesday’s Monthly Film Series is airing the documentary “Priceless” at United Church of Christ, 11 W. Main, Norwich at 7 p.m. tonight. This film answers why it costs so much to run for Congress, where the money comes from, and what it buys; it examines needed reforms to restore a well-functioning democracy.
This ongoing free educational community film event that monthly looks at current social and political issues of concern is sponsored by C-CARE (Chenango Community Action for Renewable Energy; www.chenangocare.org) and Chenango Peace Action (www.panys.org) with an additional special guest sponsor, Citizen Action Binghamton. Attendees are invited to come early for supper and to stay after for discussion.
