Pasquale’s Pizza finds a new downtown home

NORWICH – After 11 successful years in its present location on the corner of North Broad and Fair streets, Pasquale’s Pizza is moving to a new home in the city.

The business is finishing out the month at its current spot and is set to temporarily close June 29. Former restaurant owner Pasquale D’Abbraccio – who began the business in Norwich in 2001 and owned and operated another pizza shop in Long Island for 18 years prior to relocating to Norwich – is retiring, leaving his son, John D’Abbraccio, fully in charge of carrying out a new direction for the small eatery.

Instead of its current space on 45 N. Broad, the pizzeria is taking up the vacant storefront once occupied by First Edition Book Store at 13 S. Broad. The commercial space, which has been empty since February, has undergone extensive renovations in preparation for Pasquale’s Pizza.
