UV budget passes in 2nd vote
NEW BERLIN – The Unadilla Valley Central School District budget passed 360-154 Tuesday, a significant difference over the first vote in May.
In May, the vote required a 60 percent super-majority to pass, but only received votes totaling 254-250.
Yesterday’s vote approved a spending plan $440,608 less than the defeated budget in May, and cut the tax levy increase from 4.25 percent to 2.4 percent.
