NEW BERLIN - In what could be an Otsenango Pony League postseason preview, Norwich I rallied for four runs in the fifth inning, and went on to edge previously-unbeaten UV on Thursday.
Kevin Stockwell hit a three-run triple in the fifth inning to put Norwich I in front, 6-4. Jake Walsh had two hits and two runs scored for Norwich, and Everett Thompson also scored a pair of runs.
Nate Shackelton had two hits and two RBI for UV, Austin Taylor had an RBI double, and Austin Lewis finished with an RBI triple among his two hits.

SHERBURNE - Edmeston broke a 4-4 tie with Sherburne scoring six runs in the top of the fourth in Thursday’s Otsenango Pony League victory.
Sherburne had an RBI and a run scored from Ethan French. French and Brady Elderkin singled in the fifth, and and came home with their team’s final two runs on Keith Rose’s two-run single.
Edmeston took advantage of 10 Sherburne errors, and its pitching staff recorded 13 total strikeouts. Sherburne (0-3) plays Oxford on Thursday.
