Bradbury to wrestle, play football at Alfred State

NORWICH – Cody Bradbury, a 2012 Norwich High School graduate, will attend Alfred State College this fall majoring in auto technology.
Bradbury will join the Pioneers’ football team for the 2012-2013 season, and will also compete on the wrestling team. Bradbury, during his scholastic career, began playing football as an 8-year-old on the Norwich Cyclones, and continued the next 10 years finished his senior football season for the Tornado with 58 tackles and six sacks under head coach John Martinson.
On the wrestling team, Bradbury compiled a 30-7 mark during his senior season at 182 pounds. He was ranked third in Section IV, and recently finished third in the Eastern Nationals held in Maryland posting a 6-1 tournament record. Bradbury thanks all of the coaches and supporters throughout his athletics career. “It’s been a pleasure and an honor to be a Norwich Purple Tornado,” Bradbury said.
