'Rocky' makes it two straight at Skyline

BLODGETT MILLS – In Skyline’s Raceway’s 25th anniversary season, Jim “Rocky” Rothwell of Plymouth drove to his second consecutive victory this past weekend.
Rothwell, currently leading the sportsman division, charged on leader John Morse with his Ford-powered machine after starting in sixth. By the third lap, Rothwell had moved into the third-place position, and whittled down Morse’s half straightaway lead by the mid point of the race. Continuing to pressure Morse, Rothwell made the winning pass in the last third of the race, and pulled away to take the checkered flag.
With the victory, Rothwell was able to extend his points lead to 36 points over second-place Tom Collins.
