Pink Door reopens today in new spot

NORWICH – Volunteers at the Pink Door are ready to hit the ground running when the thrift shop reopens today at a new location on 9 S. Broad St.

The Pink Door, previously located at 21 S. Broad St., temporarily closed on July 13, ending a 13-year occupancy. It was forced to relocate when the building was taken up by a new owner.

But the move has done little to deter the mission of providing affordable clothing while also raising funds for the UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Auxillary, said Janet Rubottom, chairperson.
