Summer Concert Series performance moved to Council of the Arts tonight

NORWICH – Tonight’s Summer Concert Series performance – featuring the sacred steel stylings of The Campbell Brothers – has been moved to the Chenango County Council of the Arts’ Martin W. Kappel Theater, 27 West Main St., due to the possibility of severe weather this afternoon and evening.
According to Chenango Blues Association President Eric Larsen, this is only the second time in ten years that a Summer Concert Series performance has been forced to move indoors.
“We’ve been lucky,” said Larsen. “The Kappel Theater is about the best back-up you can have ... it has great acoustics, it’s a great room and we’re thankful that the Arts Council makes it available to us.”
The concert is still free for music fans of all ages and the doors will open at 6 p.m. For more information on the Summer Concert Series visit chenangobluesfest.org.
