NORWICH – After months of negotiations, The Matthews Auto Group of Vestal has announced the acquisition of Smith Ford, Lincoln at 175 Main St. in Norwich on Tuesday. Additionally Matthews will be opening its second Planet PreOwned location at the dealership, specializing in high quality used cars.

Matthews will be moving hundreds of used vehicles from the Vestal Planet PreOwned location to Norwich, starting today with a “parade of vehicles” arriving in Norwich, with the first group of 14 arriving at approximately 11:30.
