Driver injured in tractor trailer rollover
SOUTH NEW BERLIN – South New Berlin emergency personnel, including EMS and the South New Berlin Fire Department, responded to an early morning tractor trailer rollover Sunday at 3201 State Highway 8, near the intersection with County Road 15, approximately one mile south of the Hamlet of South New Berlin.
The driver of the tractor trailer, whose name was not released as of press time, was transported via ambulance to the Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown, with unknown injuries – not believed to be serious – shortly after 6:30 a.m. Sunday, according to authorities. No other vehicles were involved.
The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office and the Unadilla Valley Ambulance Corporation also responded to the scene.
