Norwich golfers extend home match winning streak to 18

PLYMOUTH – The top half of the Tornado lineup was too much for Seton Catholic Central, Thursday afternoon at Canasawacta Country Club.
Norwich’s golf team extended its home winning streak to 18 matches defeating the Saints by 26 strokes over the par-36 front nine at C.C.C.
Ryan Hagen and Corey Johnson, the one and two players for NHS, led with a 39 and 40 respectively, while Casey Marson had one of her lowest match scores over the difficult layout burying a long par putt on the ninth hole to shoot a 41.
Ryan Johnson added a 45 for the Tornado and Joseph Mioduszewski turned in a 49. Norwich (2-1) returns to action Monday when it travels to Endicott for the Nick DiNunzio Memorial Golf Tournament at En Joie Golf Club.
