Letter to the Editor: Small businesses lucky to have someone in their corner

Editor,
Do you know what it is like to have someone in your corner? How about someone in all four corners plus the middle of the room? Well, I just experienced that.
I had a crisis regarding my business phone; it felt to me as if I had fallen down an elevator shaft! Within minutes of making a phone call to Frontier Communications, help was in my shop.
The problem wasn’t theirs, but they embraced it like it was. From the top rung of the ladder to the bottom, Frontier employees reached out to me to solve my self-created dilemma.
Frontier’s immediate and professional response is one of many reasons why doing business locally contributes to the well being of our community. They value what is truly important. Riches are not always in the bank. Deals aren’t always deals. Personal relationships are what bring lasting satisfaction and contribute to the greater good. Outer circumstances do change, but loyalty and goodwill bring a sense of security and safety.
Not only do I feel that my well is full, but that I have a reservoir of support to draw from. This cannot be obtained through the internet or doing business from afar. We all have the opportunity to be good neighbors and make a difference.
Frontier Communications gets it!
