Letter to the Editor: Assemblyman Crouch endorses McBride for county judge

Editor,
I am writing to show my support for Joe McBride to be selected on Primary Day, Sept. 13, 2012, as the Republican candidate for Chenango County Court Judge. I have known Joe for many years and have always admired his character as well as his dedication to his family, his community and especially his commitment to the position of District Attorney.
Joe has worked hard as Chenango County DA, achieving a high conviction rate. Having successfully prosecuted many felons, Joe has worked to ensure that “Justice is served.” His experience is unmatched as he has worked in County Court participating in over 65 jury trials, but also having broad experience in Family Court and Surrogate Court. Joe is truly respected by the law enforcement community as well as his peers in the legal profession.
Joe is proud of his marriage to Lou Ann and their two sons. He has been a dedicated father and husband. Along with his commitment to his family, Joe has served his community in many voluntary roles for various organizations. These attributes are essential for a judge to understand the people he serves.
In choosing the best candidate for Chenango County Court Judge, we need to consider someone who has character and a thorough understanding of the law through not only broad experience, but depth of experience in the three areas of jurisdiction. I believe Joe McBride meets those qualifications. I will be voting for Joe McBride on Sept. 13, 2012.
