Investigation continues into Lincklaen Town Hall fire
LINCKLAEN – The Chenango County Bureau of Fire is continuing its investigation into a mid-afternoon fire Tuesday that severely damaged the Lincklaen Town Hall and highway department, 568 Union Valley-Lincklaen Road.
The Cuyler Fire Department first responded to the scene at approximately 3:30 p.m., discovering the structure fully engulfed in flames. No injuries have been reported, although authorities stated that the garage portion of the structure and several vehicles were destroyed. The structure was not a complete loss, however, as some portions of the building were saved.
The South Otselic Fire Department and Chenango County Bureau of Fire assisted on the scene.
