Cyclones sweep home games

NORWICH – There was a lot of action this past Sunday with the Cyclones’ Pop Warner teams sweeping their opponents at Alumni Field.

The Norwich Cyclones “C” team started the day off with a 23-6 victory over Whitestown.

Jacob Davis opened the scoring in the first quarter with an 11-yard touchdown run, and then added the extra point on a pass from Carson Maynard. David Berger added a two-point safety in the second, with Elijah Rodriguez running for a 14-yard touchdown and also kicking an extra point. Noah Bufalini completed the Cyclones scoring with a 19-yard touchdown for a 23 –0 halftime lead. Berger led the defense with J.T.Vinal, Benson McGillicuddy, Rodriguez, Collin Montgomery, Dante Geislinger and Nick Loscavio also playing tough “D.”
