AFTON – Several hundred people turned out for public hearings held this week in Afton and Schoharie on the proposed 121-mile Constitution Pipeline.

Many of those who spoke at the hearings told representatives from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission that they fear the pipeline would endanger their quality of life, water supplies and property values.
