NORWICH – The search is still on for a new director to fill the empty seat at the Guernsey Memorial Library. The Guernsey Library Board has been steadfast in filling the vacant director position since the resignation of former Director Sarah Wiggins in July.

“We’re in the process of it now,” said Guernsey Library Board President Fred Gee. Gee, who himself is new to the library board, said the Civil Service Commission approved four applicants, three of whom have undergone telephone interviews conducted by board members earlier in the summer.
