Arts Council invites you to chocolate lover’s ball
NORWICH – The Chenango County Council of the Arts will hosts its 2012 gala event – “The Chocolate Ball” – on Saturday, Nov. 10!
Continuing the Council’s tradition of fun “themed” events with lots of surprises, the enthusiastic committee is designing an evening sure to bring out the chocolate (and other sweets!) lover in everyone.
Scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Canasawacta Country Club, the event will begin at 7 pm. with complimentary champagne. Marv Mackoff will provide cocktail hour music while guests mingle, and browse the treasures available at the silent auctions tables. Dinner will feature a variety of dishes, some of them spiced with chocolate! An array of desserts and a “Candy Bar” will be sure to bring out the candy loving kid in everyone. Dancing to the music of Brotherhood will round out what is sure to be a great evening. Dress up, dress down, dress to have fun!
Proceeds from the evening will support the Chenango Arts Council’s cultural programming, which includes a performance series, gallery exhibits, funding opportunities for teachers, artists and organizations, scholarships for high school students, classes and workshops, and a community cultural calendar.
