NEW BERLIN – Down by 13 points early in the second half, Unadilla Valley swung the momentum once it switched to a full-court pressure defense.
Nate Shackelton hit all four of his three balls in the second half for UV, and Justin Hofer along with David Dufresne paced the Storm (4-4) with 21 points apiece. Unadilla Valley closed the game with 31 points in the fourth quarter and finished with nine three-pointers. “The pressure defense got us going, and we started to get more confident taking it to the basket and hitting threes,” said UV coach Matt Osborne.
