OXFORD – For only the second time since 1970, an Oxford bowler has qualified to compete for a spot on the Section IV state team.

Nathan Head led the Blackhawks in all major statistical categories this year, and finished the regular season ranked as the number two bowler in the Midstate Athletic Conference. Head’s 187 average was second only to Bryant Gray of Sidney, who averaged a career-best 195.
