YMCA Dolphins girls are district champions
FULTON – The Norwich YMCA Dolphins competed in the YMCA Central New York District Swimming Championship meet on Saturday, and the top spot in seven individual events were claimed by five Dolphins. Also at the meet, the Dolphins A Girls team (age 15-18), which went undefeated during the regular season, was awarded a first-place trophy for their accomplishment.
In all individual events, 17 Dolphins finished with top three finishes. Results are by age group:
Girls 15-18: Erin Gawronski, 1st, 200 Free (2:06.88), 1st, 200 IM (2:21.10), 2nd, 100 Fly (1:03.68); Hannah Collier, 2nd, 100 Back (1:07.9), 3rd, 200 IM (2:29.62); Taylor Zieno, 3rd, 100 Back (1:09.82).
